In the whirlwind world of wrestling rumors that could outpace even the fastest gossip monger at a high school reunion, the latest scoop had it that Killer Kelly was about to drop the TNA Wrestling mic for good. But hold onto your championship belts, folks, because that’s not quite the case.
PWInsider had the wrestling fanbase doing a double-take after reporting that Kelly was bowing out following March’s Sacrifice event, leaving her tag team, the fearsome MK Ultra, to scout for a new partner to tag alongside Masha Slamovich.
Yet, like a plot twist in a soap opera, Fightful swooped in on Sunday with the real tea: Killer Kelly isn’t hanging up her wrestling boots just yet. She’s under the TNA banner until August 2025, folks. Despite playing hooky at this weekend’s TV tapings in Philadelphia, she’s just pressing the pause button, stepping out of the ring for a breather—not a goodbye. As for the creative team’s plans, she’s currently off the storyboard, but who knows what drama awaits?
In a plot thickening enough to rival her wrestling storyline, Kelly’s also dabbling in the arts of fright and delight. She’s set to star in “Arachnid,” a spine-tingling short horror flick by Luke Paron, promising to bring scares outside the squared circle.
Since her grand entrance into the TNA universe in the twilight of 2020 at Nashville’s Skyway Studios, Killer Kelly has become a staple of the scene. Making a triumphant return in July 2022, she’s not just any wrestler; she’s a two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion, ready to tag life’s challenges and perhaps, occasionally, a ghost or two in her upcoming film role.
